Michele C. Post, manager, Travel, Meetings and Member Relations, was honored October 19, 2000 at a Medal of Excellence luncheon by Women at Work, a non-profit career and job resource center that helps women realize their full employment and earnings potential.
Post was recognized for her outstanding service to Unified and to the local community.
An employee of the former Certified Grocers of California since 1974, Post has held her current position since July, 1996.
Prior to that, she served for five years as Corporate Meeting Planner.
In existence since 1979, Women at Work has helped thousands of women and men find new jobs, change careers or improve their present employment situation. In addition, the organization provides special assistance programs for single parents, women experiencing financial difficulties or those with language difficulties.
