Unified Grocers

I think the overall site design, flow, and look provides a tremendous improvement from the current site. I didn't see any glaring spelling errors, the videos loaded fast, the pictures on each page were consistent with the topic, and the context sensitive menu on left provided an easy method for navigation.

A couple of picky things:
1) The links at the bottom of the mainpage do not have a rollover effect to indicate that it is a link until they become visited links. All other links throughout the website have an underlink upon rollover.

2) After watching some of the videos, the user closes the viewer but is presented with a blank page that also needs to be closed before returning to the main website.

3) On the contact us page, the quick contacts on the right show: Main Office, Portland Office, and Seattle Office. I think the use of Main office is a little strange. Commerce or Corporate would seem more appropriate.

Will the EDI link be added?  I use this link OFTEN when referring new EDI trading partners.  This link houses all of our EDI information.  Please advise

The text color is difficult to read.....I'd prefer black.
Also if you check the box for no response on site feedback the submit button does not work.

Under the show page we should update it to include the GM/HBC Spring Extravaganza.  No longer called the Selling Seminar.

Question: Is there a way to search the website for a product to find out if Unified carries it?

     (No comma after "national" and I think the dash should be a comma, although I'm not too fluent on the use of dashes so it might be just a style decision.)


"...Our family of independently-owned retailers are able to compete with large grocery companies by pooling their resources at Unified."
     (Should be "...is able to compete..."  "Family" is singular. I'm a stickler for pronoun agreement.)

I am a Unified employee.  I found the old store locator to be of great value in helping to quickly find stores.  The new store locator does not provide me with the info I need.

Association - CGA complaining because they didn't see their show on the events calendar to the right of the page. Do you have only so much space to show events up to June? Their event is held in October. Thank you.
