In an effort to ease traffic congestion at the dock area and provide a smooth setup, the following are guidelines for the various methods of shipping product:

Direct Exhibitor Deliveries

For direct vendor delivery to the Long Beach Convention Center, the following guidelines must be followed:

  • Product and/or display materials must arrive on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

  • All packages must be labeled as follows:

  • Docks A and B will be available for all deliveries. Take Pine Avenue to Seaside Way.
  • LBCC Security and GES — Global Experience Specialists personnel will direct traffic to and from the loading docks.
  • All shipments must have the company name and EXPO booth number on all packages.
  • Do not leave vehicles unattended at the dock area. Please move your vehicle immediately after unloading to allow others access to the dock.

Note: There is less congestion at the docks if deliveries arrive between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. or between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

For advanced shipping of non-perishable products to the GES Warehouse (for storage and delivery to EXPO), GES is offering a rate of $40.00 per hundred pounds for skidded product (minimum of 200 pounds per shipment). This rate includes:

  • Delivery of product directly to the show site on Monday. June 18, 2012
  • Unloading your skidded/shrink-wrapped freight. (The warehouse cannot receive uncrated, unskidded or perishable shipments.)
  • Storing at the GES warehouse for up to 30 days. Any materials stored beyond 30 days will incur additional costs.
  • Reloading onto trucks and delivery to the exhibit site; unloading freight and delivery to your booth; and reloading freight for return to your specified destination from the exhibit site.

Note: Any special handling required may incur additional costs. Contact GES for additional information or for shipments less than 200 pounds.
