Kenneth (Ken) Tucker was first elected to the Unified Grocers Board of Directors in 1999. Prior to serving on the Unified Board, Ken served on the Board of Directors of United Grocers (a predecessor company of Unified Grocers).
Ken is the owner and operator of Evergreen Markets, Inc., a supermarket company located in Greenville, California, a logging and mining town at the northern tip of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Evergreen also has a diversified assortment of other business interests including a laundromat, video and entertainment shop, farm and feed store, real estate rental and real estate development that serve the surrounding communities. Prior to entering the grocery industry, Ken was a director and announcer for several California radio stations.
Ken has served as a director for the Plumas County Chamber of Commerce, EMT/captain of the Greenville Fire Department and is currently president of the Greenville Rotary Club.
